Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Are these new, new coils?

Yeah they aren't out yet but should be soon, they'll fit a protank 3 and evod 2 and a few others.

That's good, I might grab a T3d and it sounds like the new coils will fit that.

Could someone recommend a starter kit for a noob. I would prefer to spend less then 60 quid if possible, with a battery charger etc. I smoke about a box of tobacco a day. Thanks in advance.

a friend of mine got this one recently, €40, get 2 batteries and 2 evod's with it so you can have one on the go and the other charging. Seems to be a good kit

Tried posting the link, but it won't let me over being a "new user". Anyway its on Cloudhousevapours website and its the Kanger evod starter kit.

Was in the same boat up to a couple weeks ago.....if you're in Dublin there's a newsagents on Talbot street sells everything for a newbie to get started......got an eGo-T in there for 20 euro, sell all the juices for 4 euro each......from a quick look on here it seems many spend alot on the best equipment/mods and stuff but if ur just looking for a decent starter that's a good place to errrm start

I got sorted folks, cheers. Ordered the evod starter kit as suggested off Cloudhouse vapor and some liquids to keep me going. Hopefully it will arrive by Friday. The amount of liquids to choose from is crazy, it's like reading a food menu.

I got mine from Exclusive E-Cigarette's ebay store for 9.29 delivered.

If you find the draw too airy you can use one of these

    https://www.fasttech.com/p/1654500

you might be able to source one locally and avoid the long wait.

Those are meant to be good but they won't fit on the mini, only the larger versions.

Got it from the best shop, it was €8.50 actually.

What's the story with dual coil resistance? Do they normally use lower resistance than single? The one I ordered only seems to come with a 1.5ohm coil which would be lower than I'd normally use (with a 3.7v ego battery). Just a bit worried I'll get scalding vapor off it.

You won't. Each coil in a 1.5ohm head is 3ohms, so the juice is much less likely to burn at a given wattage as the wattage is split between coils.

Ah I get you. Thanks for clearing that up.

At 3.7v with a 1.5 coil you'll be vaping at just over 9 watts so it won't be too hot.

I see most sites selling 14500 batteries. What do they fit? Is there a thin mod out there?

Wow that's nice. Is it about the same size as a 650mah Ego?

So I got my Mini Tank Pro 3 from Exclusive E-Cigarette this morning.
It vapes fine but the tank sits off to the side, the center post seems to be leaning to one side, knit picking I know but I do find it annoying.
The drip tip comes off fairly easily as well. not like IndoorSmokers review on youtube.

  • Registered Users Posts: 434 ✭✭Valentine1

Been vaping for about a week and half now and really enjoying it, have no inclination to smoke a cigarette at all, we'll see how long that lasts though.

Also received my Mini Protank 3 this morning and very happy with it so far. Its a big improvement on the starter kit with lots of vapour and there is a bit of heft in it as well.

This forum has been very helpful for a noob so thanks to all contributors.

Anyone bought a 26650 mod yet? Thinking of trying one of the FT clones and wondering if the extra battery life is worth the size.

    If so what's a good 26650 battery.

They certainly do fit, also the aerotank will fit mini protank2 or 3 base.Looks a bit silly though

Do you need to inform Eirgrid before charging one of those?

Got a Kanger Evod yesterday, anyone starting out, don't bother with the cheap atomisers, they're useless.. Got an eGO twist C battery for 13 euro on eBay.. Brand new :3

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 930 ✭✭✭jousting with chairs

FT do these ones, 70A discharge but you need a different type of charger for them.
they have been on sale a few weeks so reviews should be up shortly.

Bored stiff, so having a mooch around the cloud 9 vaping site.

I really like the Titanide stuff. I can see myself sat on the back of a yacht vaping away on those.
