Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What atomiser are you using that with? Is it ego sized, or mod sized?

    Mini nautilus, It's 19mm.

Agreed, although I will say a revision was badly needed, centre pin and 510 threads were both particularly poor. Love the look of the 50w. Specs make for some pretty impressive reading too considering the $50 RRP
    0.2 ohm
    4400 mah
    Spring loaded ss 510
    Nice...
Yeah this or the 30w will be in my fleet pretty sharpish, the sub ohm capabilities are what does it for me as I have settled on around .8 for my Orchid builds.
I have two istacks right now and love em, the little blighters have their faults (grrr 1ohm plus only and dodgy overpowered output) but all round they are a great product.

Just to weigh in on the B&M or even Irish based online stores, I try to give them all my business but for some things your fasttechs are simply the only way to go. Its just economics. That said the only juice I've bought 'foreign' in recent times is 9 bottles of Dragon Blood from the UK, because no-one here carries it and its one of my ADV's.
So yeah, spend your money where you want, or can, but remember a strong Irish B&M (or online) market is better for us all.

Looking to buy my first e-cig, any thoughts on this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/LiquiPal-Cigarette-Starter-Kit-Clearomizers/dp/B00JV8L5N8/ref=sr_1_5?s=drugstore&ie=UTF8&qid=1421163118&sr=1-5&keywords=e+cigarette

The reviews are good, any idea if I can buy it from a shop in Dublin as oppose to buying it online?

Nah, feck that. Go into town to Purplebox Vapours, SmokeDifferent or Ecirette or go to E-Smoke Ireland in Palmerstown. They'll all have good starter kits for cheaper with a liquid.

Personally id avoid it and buy one of these instead.

    Your best option is this

(you can select the items individually if you don't want a pink one. Plus you'll sell this one on a lot easier than the one on amazon)

    other options from better manufacturers would be the following;

I'll start a new practice of notifying you guys when a new vendor gets added. Diablo E-Liquid added to Vaping Ireland . Check the site for a 20% discount code.

Yeah but 7.50 for 10ml:confused:. Shure thats crazy money. I don't actually know anybody irl that would pay that kind of money for juice. I know there is a 20% discount, but how long will that last. Looks like profiteering to me. Premium juice should be no more than 5eu for 10ml and even that is pricey to me. But I can justify it as a special treat cos I diy my juice these days.:D

  • Moderators, Science, Health & Environment Moderators Posts: 9,009 Mod ✭✭✭✭mewso

I used to happily pay above the odds for enJuice liquids because the quality was obvious. These days I'm a tobacco juice only man so I won't be able to comment but if this stuff is of a certain quality then I say fair enough. In the end up to individuals to decide to pay or not.

Also folks can we ease up on the speculation. I'm fine with people commenting on vendors when they have dealt with them but pure speculation means I am the one getting the pms from worried vendors wanting the right to reply that we can't give them. Remember particularly with irish businesses that they are trying to make a living first and foremost which isn't easy these days so be sure of your criticism. I've no problem with comments on prices. Thats a valid opinion.

Some nice flavours on there, the pick n mix looks pretty sweet, especially with the discount code.
    Cheers for the link.

Got my Kanger Subtank today, really nice device and lovely flavour. Anyone recommend a decent battery, not too expensive, because it looks terrible on my Aspire CF sub ohm!

You need something to fit 25mm Subtank,a 26650 mod or something like this & it works great, hardly any voltage drop..

Have been looking at the IPV mini, any users?

Is any store in Ireland stocking the Subtank Nano and Mini?
I found a crowd in the UK that seem to have them ready to ship but the postage rates are appalling.

Any word if Kanger have fixed the issue with the rebuildable section with the new models (a part was corroded with certain tank cracking juices)?

No prob. I'm def gonna get a couple. Love the 25mm ones when in rta and coil head mode. Apparently the airflow is increased for rta in the 22mm. That'll be nice. I'm gonna check with vendor (probably the best shop) before I buy, to make sure they have ones with the new insulators. Pbusardo said the first version tastes like "monkey ass" :-)

Hi, I am new to the thread but have been vaping for 6 weeks now (have been smoking 30 years now, never been off them a day until I started vaping).

I started off using the smokegreen starter pack and found it great. Have since bought the VIP 1100 lithion-ion battery (€23) and VIP metal clearomizer (there is a stand in my local shopping centre

    http://www.vipelectroniccigarette.ie/aspire-ets-bdc-glassomizer-kit-p-51.html

). One of my worries is battery running out of power and I go back to cigarettes (have 20 stashed to prove my will power :o ).

Could anyone advise of a reliable battery to use with the cleoromizer above. After some browsing I am between the vision spinner ii and the iStick

    http://www.e-smokeireland.eu/product-p/istick.htm

(btw, excuse my ignorance, does the iStick work with the clearomizer)?

All advice welcome and thanks in advance.

  • Registered Users Posts: 319 ✭✭Allan45121

my advice is the istick. It is, without a doubt, the best starter battery on the market.
and yes there is an adapter included that will work with your clearo

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,052 ✭✭✭Pique

Fair play, Plascebo. It's a great feeling to be smoke free.

As above, the iStick is a great move.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,687 ✭✭✭✭Penny Tration

The istick is definitely what you want! I work for vip and you need a spare battery!

With the istick, you'll get an adaptor. Screw the adaptor onto the istick, and then you can use your glassomizer (the metal clearo) on it :)

Thanks Pique, although funnily enough I still see myself as a smoker using the vapes :o Am on strongest tobacco flavours at the moment, adding a dash of low strength menthol, which I will try increasing over time to lower my nicotine intake.

Am going to go for the iStick, thanks to all for the recommendation.

Does anyone know the difference between the express kit and full kit on the e-smokeireland site (express is €35 and full is €40)?

Edit, full stick not available to click for purchase on the site and the express kit is only pre-order, any other recommendations of where to purchase this item?
