Have a clone temple rda commig in the post in the post early next week. Can anyone reccomend a nice mod that will suit as I just realised its 30mm. Dont want to break the bank and I also dont want to wait a month for it. Can be regulated, unregulated, box, tube I dont mind, just looking for a nice combo that will do the business for me.

I had the Apex tank but I gave it to a friend of mine as I didn't really like it.
I thought it was grand at first but after a short while a few issues just done my head in.

As you say, it's quite hard to see how much juice is left as the window on the side is pretty small.
That window then tends to fog up all the time which makes it impossible to see the level.

You'll know when you need a new coil as you'll get a burnt taste when vaping.
The coils on that tank only lasted me a week. They seemed to burn up in no time at all.
Generally from other tanks I've gotten about 2 - 3 weeks.

I use a Kanger subtank mini every day and in my opinion you can't go wrong with the subtank. They can leak slighly from time to time but overall they're a fantastic tank.

As for the nic strength, if you drop the level it should reduce the harshness but it depends on what type of juice you're using too.

Thanks for your reply and sorry for my late reply. Havn't been able to get onto boards the last few days.

So is this the one you use:

    https://www.fasttech.com/products/3006/10004861/2106401

I don't think I need to get a battery (kit) coz I already have the iStick 30w?

I also see a Kanger Topbox and a Kanger Subbox on Fastech:

    https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10014058/4024101-authentic-kanger-topbox-mini-starter-kit

    https://www.fasttech.com/product/2385501-authentic-kanger-subox-mini-black-starter-kit

Would you recommend the Kanger Subtank mini over the Topbox and the Subbox?

    Thanks

The Topbox are Subox and both kits, so you get a Subtank Mini and a box mod (which needs a replaceable battery) so if you only need a tank, just but the Subtank Mini alone.

Wismec RX200 Reuleaux + Smok TFV4 with Quad Coil. Epic flavour, Epic vapour production, Epic clouds and Epic juice sucking! Very impressed with the setup, just using in Wattage Mode for now til I get some SS coils for it, hopefully a bit of TC can reign in the tanks thirst! Would highly recommend both the tank and the Mod anyways, will add some more comments on TC when I build a TC Coil in the RDA or get some off the shelf TC coils.

Just ordered one of these rx200s. Decided I better take the plunge and keep up with the times. Have another tc mod ordered from slowtech but.god knows what its like or when it will arrive.

    Need to stop spending :-)

    Guys,

So I want to get the Kanger Subtank Mini but I'm confused about which one. Which one is the latest version? Is link one below the latest version and link two and three just different colours of the latest version? Is link four an old version? Sorry i don't understand which one to get:

That is difficult to pick out the newest version,I can only go by the images they supplied, the first version had one airflow & the new version has two airflows, but they don't state it or show in picture.
Another difference is the RBA,the newer version is much better for wicking, the only picture I see with the new version RBA is link 2,the white one, maybe someone else can pin point the newer one for you.
Personally,I would spend the extra tenner & buy it from a Vendor in Ireland.

The third link ( black one ) is the latest V2. Have two of them from FT at home with the same SKU as the one you've linked.

Generally they have the latest versions of all of these in stock, but the pictures are from the outdated V1, which they still haven't changed.

I find it very useful to check the discussion thread on each product, more than the review thread, to get any info I'm looking for.

Not in Ireland at the moment; in the UAE.

As far as I remember the original was only available in silver.
So if you get a white or black one, should be a V2.

You can still get the V2 RBA separately anyway if you get the original...

Took one for the team !
Ordered replacement glass tank (black) and 510 pipe stem (search for VIP rose or VIP bamboo on Fasttech) in the hope it'll balance the appearance of it.
Worked out around 50 Euro all in with the code Dr Bill posted.

    Guys,

So just to try and clarify I wrote to Fasttech and asked them which is version II. This is what they wrote back:

    'Thanks for your inquiry.

Would you please tell us more details of the feature of the version #2 then we can check that for you?'

Doesn't really inspire me with confidence. So now I'm wondering about the Kanger Toptank Mini in order to make life simple:

    https://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10004861/4086101-authentic-kanger-toptank-mini-sub-ohm-tank

It is the same as the Kanger Subtank Mini except you fill it from the top, isn't it?

At least on the site I can see clearly the Kanger Toptank range.

    Regards

In theory you could really call that version 3, Top fill, uses the new SSOC coils from the Nebox, and comes with the V2 RBA base.

This should work with the original subtank coils if you wanted to use those. I cant see why it wouldnt

Yeah I looked at this when buying recently, went for the Evic mini instead. But the topbox one has the top fill/newer version aye. You can tell because the top fill one has knurling around the top cap

Has anyone gotten HE4s off GB before.

I ordered 4 and they arrived today. I have some from ESI too.

The yellow is slightly different on the GB ones from those I got from ESI.

Also tapping two ESI ones together, and comparing the noise of tapping two GB ones together, they seem completely different.

One sounds metaly (ESI), the GB ones sound concretey.

I'm reluctant to use them. Unless charging them will change the density/ sound. They are too different for that i think.

I use 4 HE4's on rotation exclusively in a mech mod. Bought from Gearbest, no issues whatsoever.

Thanks for your reply and sorry for my late reply. Haven't been able to get onto boards the last few days. Only managed to get on now using a VPN.

It was previously suggested to me that with the subtank mini I should start with 1.5ohm coils, then move onto 1.2ohms and then 0.5ohms.

Would be grateful if you could post a link from Fastech illustrating which coils I should get with this tank please - I'm always scared of buying the wrong things?

I watched the vid the other day. He talks a lot about the battery which he doesn't seem to enthused about. Didn't really say much about the tank. Well that was my opinion of his video. Think the tank is probably good so I'm going to get one - just trying to figure out the correct coils now.

I don't think Ill get the battery as I have an iStick 30w battery which I think works with it - correct me if I'm wrong.

I can't watch PBusardo anymore, his 'reviews' are far too long winded. Like get to the point man!! :D

Maybe watch a few more, as he's not always right either.

picnmixdiy are now selling flavour concentrates of pre mixed flavours in 10 ml bottles. Couple of flavours I want to try out, and now don't have to buy all individual flavours.
