Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I noticed on the vape porn thread a number of Dingos.

How do you vary the power on them, with a kick?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,906 ✭✭✭EGriff

Just built my first coil, came out at 1.9/2 Ohms. Took me two tries, the first one was about the same resistance but it broke when I was tightening the screws back down.

I followed this video, easy peasy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KqIX4sUbObI

Yep. I use a Dingo with the little extension so it takes an 18350 and kick.

Dingos only take an 18350 unless you buy the kick ring from atmizoo, then you can put a kick in it.

How long do Vaperus usually take to deliver? Ordered on the 24th at 13:00 seems it shipped on the 26th at 06:00, but no sign of it. Looking like it'll be a week before I get my order :|

I got my starter kid off them a while back and it was pretty quick from what I remember. Maybe give them a call.

Im off on holidays on Friday and I was about to stock up on juice cause im about to run out. Went to make an order and everyone I know of in Ireland is out of stock of 50ml bottles of 11mg dekang usa mix.
I can get 30ml bottles from ez smoke but its a bit pricey (sorry ez)
Anybody know of anywhere in Ireland that have 50ml bottles in stock?
Im not really interested in trying new flavours while away incase I dont like them.

Just received delivery of a Kanger Mini Protank II this morning. Seems to be a good improvement from the iclear16s I've been using, much much cooler vape and no more burnt lips, loads of vapor and the flavor is nicer too. Pauls Limeade is going down a treat!!.............mod next perhaps!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,906 ✭✭✭EGriff

The only problem I have with the mini protanks is you can't fill from the top, you have to unscrew the whole thing and a lil drop always goes up the centre post. I end up having to empty it every time which is annoying because it usually starts gurgling when its getting close to empty.

Great device otherwise though. Kanger have a unitank coming out that fills from the top but it has some kind of weird spring system in it to keep a vacuum, we'll have to wait and see how that turns out.

Got some "Big Flavour" Forest Fruits from SmokeDifferent.ie on Mary Street, as I was running low on juice. Really liking it, as it reminds me of the Yop Forest Fruits! Have another bottle steeping for the last couple of days, and looking forward to see how much the flavour is intensified :) Also got some Rainbow flavour. REALLY liked how I could try different flavours, as opposed to picking random ones, and hoping I like them, as I don't have to pick only the "safe" options.

    [rant]
Ordered CPU off random person on Adverts.ie from Athlone on Saturday (31st), got it today.

Ordered stuff (juice, ePipe, etc) from Vaperus from Cavan last Tuesday (27th), still haven't got it yet :(

Do they give you something to put over the tip of those clearos for tasting flavours? The thought of 100 strangers using it before me would put me off.

If its anything like vapourpal then there's a bowl of clean ones, you get 1 that travels from each tank you taste, when you're done it gets thrown into another bowl that when full gets taken away to be washed.

Just got me some. Dr.Pepper, Spearmint, Cola, B+H and Red Bull. From TBS. Still at the stage where I'm testing flavours.

So far Cola is my favourite. Actually preferring other flavours to tobacco since quitting cigarettes.

Bargainvapour 100ml sale? €13.99. Hangsen made. No different to Dekang really. Have you ever tried? I have Ry4 and Vanilla Custard - both really nice I have to say. They've loads of tobacco flavours too.

dball - I wouldn't bother with the above set up tbh. Even if you already have the iMist - try something else that doesn't use those awful good-for-nothing cartridges, like an eVod or a mini Protank. It's easy to get lured in by the claims made when you first set eyes on a device but believe me I've spent hours looking into that Imist thing before I bought anything and it's almost identical to the eGo-c atomizer head thing - looks slick but is worse than useless. And try locating parts for it...:(

Thanks csi, crises averted, rang bart today and luckily he got it back in stock today, will be up on the site later, was starting to panic a bit!!!

Thanks for your input but I have to say i'm impressed with it - it gives a decent vapor and i like the idea of not having to clean out a tank etc to change liquid. I got 4 cartridges with the original purchase ( i was in Peterborough and it had a walk in shop - i couldn't leave without something new) and i'm happy enough with the device - its just you know the way in the vaping world you have to have a back up for you back up - which is just in case your back up lets you down and you dont have a back up to hand.
Its a fine looking machine and it delivers a punch - they are not an expensive cartridge or anything - i just thought someone on here might know that the ego-c or some other device has the same fitting -
    I have a protank - too airy!!
    cheers for the feedback

Are any if those Hangsen juices nice? I have 100ml of red cola but its got a pretty nasty chemical taste to it. Its manageable in a cleaned clearo but if I use it in a dripper that's had another flavour in it the taste is like death, had to rip out two wicks after trying it.

When I got this AGR tank, it came with the small and large sizes.

Yeah, for sure they're nice! They really do need steeping though, two weeks on average but well worth the wait. I'd be open to try all flavours (of all brands) but tbh cola? I just don't imagine that to be nice anyway...
A lot of juices have that chemical-y smell to begin with. Have you not steeped?

I have Ry4, Vanilla Custard, Menthol and now Bubblegum (new in BV) - B/gum's steeping away nicely atm, can't wait to try.

    Hey guys!!

Could I ask a few questions about this vaping craic?
So I'm looking on ebay now and the ego-t seem to be the most popular.
Now I see there is a ce4 an ce5 version and the latter does not need replacement wicks, correct?
So I should get the ce5 right?

    Thanks guys,

    squirrel

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,363 ✭✭✭dePeatrick

All coils/wicks need replacing after a while, some clearomisers have replacable coils/wicks, some do not.

You are better off with a clearomiser that you can replace the wicks and coil on.....:)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 351 ✭✭Vaperus

If its not replaceable coils you throw the whole thing away

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 393 ✭✭squirrelohara

Why's that, save money on just replacing the coil instead of the whole clearomiser?
    I don't have a notion what I'm looking for.
Any recommendations on what "pen" (don't even know their name) is reliable?

You can get lots of cheapos out there, some good, some not so, I think to stick with what either e-Smokeireland.eu or vaperus.ie sell is a good idea as they stock branded goods and you have some come back, they both have starter kits and I got one from Esi and am very happy with it.

    http://www.e-smokeireland.eu/product-p/kangtwist.htm

    http://www.vaperus.ie/basic-vaping-kits/192-kanger-evod-kit.html

A kit really is the best way to go at the start as anything that can go wrong for a noobie will go wrong, spares and lots of them.....:)
