I have a Zanussi washing machine which is acting up

It is working fine on drain or spin but if I set it to normal wash it works for a few minutes and then just stops and timer goes to 0.

Only started yesterday so wondering could be caused by water pressure.

I have check the filter and that seems fine.

Any ideas before I ring up looking for a call out.

Mine has the exact same problem. It would fill up, work for about 2 minutes then empty again. I used to stand over it and repeat the process about ten times. Last night it stopped working completely. It makes a rumble noise but refuses to fill up and just switches off. It had the same problem about three years ago, the technician removed the top and altered something electrical. It was fine. Only trouble is, I wasn't in the house when the technician called and the friend who was supervising cannot remember what he did!

    I really need help.
Also, I vowto never get another zanussi product!
