Our band, a new Dublin based AC/DC tribute band called ACCA/DACCA, urgently require a hard hitting rock 'n' roll drummer who can comfortably play the styles of Phil Rudd or Chris Slade, although Phil Rudd would be more preferable.

We have a gig next week, and unfortunately the current drummer can't deliver due to certain reasons.

Rehearsal takes place tomorrow evening at Loop Studios:

    Setlist includes:

    Highway to Hell (live)
    Shot down in flames
Back in Black (Live version- e.g- Donington' 91)
    Sin city (live)
    Shoot to thrill
Dirty deeds done dirt cheap (live version, e.g- Donington '91)
Whole lotta rosie (live '91 version)
You shook me all night long (live)
    TNT( live version)
    Let there be rock (live)

    No timewasters and no egos!
Age ranges between 21 and 32!

    All Dublin based!

Good equipment essential and have own transport is a MUST!

Please PM me of any queries!

    Thanks.

    ACCA/DACCA!

You're asking a lot just for one gig (own transport, commitment etc.)

It's not just one gig. They are looking for a replacement drummer.

Yep, true Malice, and I ain't having any luck. Just feel like giving up now, its depressing! Same with a guitarist. Myself, singer and bassist have known each other 7 months, we're tight ourselves, just that drummers seem to be coming and going. What's their problem?

Stick with it, you'd be surprised how things change. A couple of years ago I couldn't find a drummer for the band I was in, there seemed to be nothing but guitar players about. Now I can't find a guitar player but know three available drummers :).

Ah really, sweet.. Well I will stick at it, but I guess it could be next year before I start gigging now, was originally hoping to get gigging by October, but that went out the window with the drummer leaving and his best friend, who was guitarist..

Why do people like this mess people around.
I'm a patient man, but now i'm really starting to lose it..

Another guitarist who was interested and then doesn't bother his arse to show up to rehearsal, where do they come from?

Ah well, bottom line is.. I gotta keep tryin, thanks for the heads up man, appreciate it.:)

Hye Malice, could you close this thread now, as our original drummer has come back. He was sick for a while, but has returned now, and made a full recovery. Thanks again.

Should there be a reason to get another drummer, i'll put an ad up in the future, if thats ok..

    Thanks again.
