Hey, just looking for some info on the Multimedia Programming/Web Engineering course.

What programming languages do you learn?

How is the course assesed? e.g. continuous assesment or practicals or whatever.

    What are the hours like?

A range of different programming languages and software frameworks are covered. In the first two years Java is the primary language students learn. PHP, Actionscript, and Javascript are also covered during the first couple of years. In later years more advanced topics such as iOS, Android and .NET development are introduced.

Continuous assessment (CA) is used throughout the course. Most modules are assessed by a number of CAs and a final written examination. However, some modules are entirely assessed by CA.

If you contact the School of Creative Technologies in IADT they may be able to give you a current timetable to give you an idea of the hours involved or answer any other questions you have.
