dvr box

im looking for a dvr box that i can record tv with. id like it to have the option to burn live tv to dvd also for watching later or to burn already recorded stuff to tv.

id like to be able to connect it to my sky+ box also so that i can free up space in it.

any suggestions on which to buy on a budget?

Dont even know if this exists to be honest.

You cant take recording off a sky+ box either as far as im aware they are copy protected. You will need to record them all over again with the dvr. (press play on the sky box and record on the dvr)

As for recording tv that wont be a problem with a dvr the fomat that is used with the dvr can then be burned to a dvd from your pc/laptop

Its not a sky specific thing. I know itll take 2hrs to copy a 2hr recorded sky program etc

i think my idea of budget and yours are a little different. i guess i have an unrealistic expectation of picking up anything like this for under 100?
