Aim assist Campaign

Ok, so I started playing battlefield 3 single player on normal and one of the first loading screens told me to turn off aim assist if I wanted a challenge or something like that. I could not find the option so I just restarted on Hard, the game was way too easy anyway. Even on hard aim assist is still on. I'm using a mouse…

Aim assist is automatically on? Not available in Multi I presume?

Yes not available in multi thank god. I'm still looking for some way to turn it off in single player.
