Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Rest of the deals left today are useless. I'm thinking they are going to add something very good for right near the end soon.

Must be, if it's the 10.1 then that is the one that Apple keep on trying to get banned from sale in Europe.

All this talk about tablets... whereas I reckon it'll be the Galaxy S2 phone - twitter clue mentions "call", and event is sponsored by Three.

Unless I'm missing some other vital clue?

how does the galaxxy tab stack up against the Asus Eee Pad Transformer?

i think as it is in the computers and accessories category gives it away that it is a tablet

It's the 32gb version, but from a very quick Google I see that version elsewhere for £479 and the 16gb version for £399.

Sure it can be found for slightly better. It's certainly not the £180 discount they are claiming.

We had a multitude of laptops and smartphones at the ready, but no joy. Wasn't a big a deal as I thought it would be anyhow.

Last year was far better imho. Damp squib is an understatement! Lol.

I have the Galaxy tablet as well as an Ipad. The Galaxy hasn't a fraction of a patch on the Apple. It's just so unuserfriendly. I can't believe that they are that price as I got mine through a purchase deal. Should have sold it.......

Maybe you're just more used to Apple products? Do you have an iPhone?

I've used an iPad, and found the experience quite unexciting, and rather, em, "sterile". Each to their own though.

I'm really annoyed that the price of a lot of the items is so not matching up to their 'before' price during the sale and a lot of things are suddenly not that much dearer than their lightning deals, eg the mortal instruments trilogy down from '£21.83' to £8.99 - now £9.89. One of the kipling bags that was £55 now £27.50 at normal price. Really disappointed there were no consoles or big ticket items either.

I didn't see any great deal's all week to be honest.

Piss poor this year except for a few obvious exceptions.
I kept checking until midnight thinking they were gonna load up the quality stuff right at the end :-(

yea obviously offering a galaxy tab was nice, but i think that overall their week of 'deals' was crap, and particularly hard on irish shoppers since some of the dvd bargains, like 5quid for cars, wouldn't work with the free delivery (and yes i know people got refunded but it is more hassle than it is worth for a dvd). then there was a lot of tat going round, and other stuff was barely discounted.

tis like apple. big ass email from them extolling their black friday deals. what 20squid off of a ipod touch is 'fabulous'?! i think not
