Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A few days ago I saw people protesting with banners / placards outside Cost Plus Sofas on the Cork Road. Anyone know what the story is?

Someone lost the remote down the back of one of them but nobody would own up.

Strange. Sit in would make me think it's something to do with the staff. I have seen allot of TV adds lately for them so I doubt the company is going under or anything.

Don't think it was staff issues, one of the banners read "Cost Plus Robbers" But there was quite a lot of people on the footpath so it was not just one unhappy customer.

I have heard about shall we say "issues" with them in the past that people have had. You'd have to think people are pretty pissed to take such action.

Yeah, recently they were advertising free 40inch LCD TV's with 3 piece suites etc bought so you would imagine that the stuff should be moving out the door pretty fast, maybe the deal is not as good when you get into the nitty gritty?

A sit-in in a shop that sells couches.
