Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

photo essay help

    I have to do a photographic essay for college, to be shot in 35mm B&W film. im thinking of trying to document a paitent from a mental health centres first week being out. i can have text also,so il talk to them about what they missed the most, their feelings,basically anything relvent to them. does anyone have any idea on how i could start this off?

    I presume you've gone through a formal research ethics process in the College? That's a very sensitive personal space you're talking about... I guess a lot of people would be reluctant to be photographed/quoted and I wonder how easy a topic you've chosen (if indeed you chose it yourself)?

    Just a thought - sineadw who is a regular here is currently doing a mental health related project. See her thread here. Why not make contact with her by pm (normally doesn't bite ;)) and partake as a sitter or assistant and pick her brains about how to go about things while there. A bit of give and take might work really well for you both :) and there may be similarities in terms of the project subject matter.
