Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Right lads. We have a 10x5 ifor williams cowbox with the last 6 years and it needs a bit of tidying up now. Was thinking of trading it in for a 12x5'10'' but would prefer to have it fixed up first. Have all new lights and mudguards for it and tyres are like new aswell. It needs a new hitch, new checkplate floor and the brakes need to be done. The auld lad reckons the shoes are ok and it just needs new cables. Anyone have any idea what it would cost to do it? Shouldnt break the bank I would imagine but I wouldnt like to sell it the way it is.

I am repairing a 10x6 ifor trailer at the moment. Aluminum floor is €150 for 8x4 sheet you need timber underneath. Springs are €50 each. Complete brake kit is around €50/wheel. If it will cost too much to repair you should sell it as is as you won't make any extra profit out of it. My trailer will end up costing €600 to repair (timber floor only) but I will be keeping it for my own use.

Tyres and springs are ok and body is fairly clean so what I need is the hitch which keeps sliding back and forward, brakes and floor. Timbers are in good nick, just need new sheeting. Surely 600 quid would cover it. As a matter of interest what roughly are one of these trailers worth. Similar to http://www.donedeal.ie/for-sale/trailers/2482452

If it only the floor and hitch you should sort it for around €400-500. The trailer should be at least worth €1200 but you won't get that trading it in.
