Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

charolais x heifers

    i have 15 charolais cross weanling heifers off good suckler cows, i am keepin them over the winter but i wonder shud i fatten them up next summer or should i put them incalf. there are ranging from 280 to 320 kgs

    Put an easy calving simmental on them. You will get a nice bunch of heifers for the bull down the road.

    They are a bit light for bulling I'd say.

    A heifer would want to be over 400kgs at least IMO.
