Bleeding Radiator

Hello, Can anyone give me advise on bleeding my radiator? We recently got that radiator in the bathroom replaced and since then the radiator in the hall hasn't been working. Filled with air i presume? Do i need to have the system on when trying to bleed the radiator so the water gets pumped around and hopefully pushes out…

Hello,

Do i need to have the system on when trying to bleed the radiator so the water gets pumped around and hopefully pushes out the air from the rad or do i need to have the system turned off and the valve on the air filled radiator closed so no more air gets into the system?

A system is best bled when it is cold. Bleed from the lower floor up.

Thanks DoneDL. Should i have the valve closed or open on the radiator?

Open on both sides, but if you need to turn the valves make a note of how many turns you made to keep the system balanced.
