Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Belgian flags on cars around town

A couple of weeks ago I noticed a car driving by with a Belgian flag on it, in much the same way as we put up a Déise flag or a tricolour when Waterford hurlers or the Irish soccer and rugby teams are playing.

I noticed it again and took note of the type of car, but since then I've seen a Belgian flag on at least one other type of car.

I don't know if Belgium is involved in any major tournament at the moment, and I'm not sure how many Belgians we have around Waterford anyway, so has anyone got any idea what it's all about?

Noticed the same myself, but thought it was the german flag.

But then realised that Dunhill has the same colour's but arranged differently.

    Gott sei dank!!!

Well I assumed it was a Belgian flag, which is a tricolour arranged like ours only black, yellow and red from the flagpole out. Then again, I didn't take that much notice of the order of the colours - maybe it is Dunhill's flag.

Or else maybe the Dunhill crew just use the Belgian flag because of the colours. I've seen Clare fans use a Swedish flag and Cork fans use the old Japanese Imperial flag. I'd swear I've seen a Greek flag at a Waterford match once!

Maybe it's the Dunhill crew doing the same thing and not Belgians at all!
