Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Where to purchase Tag Heuer?

Hi folks, I am about to buy a tag heuer carrera day date. It's a limited edition piece and I have the jeweller bargained down to a competitive price that appears to be as good as I can identify in Ireland.

I have a sister who lives in the States, however, and I wonder would she be likely to come by it at a better price. I'll get over the fact that it may not be limited addition if purchased abroad. Has anyone advice regarding online or abroad watch purchasing?

    Thank you.

Don't be a bit afraid to hardball the local Jeweller. I got 900 off my Carrera by just saying 'I'm buying one this weekend, it'll either be from you and I'd like to keep my business local, and buy more watches from you in the future, or it'll be in London on a cheap Ryanair flight'. Not in so abrupt or as harsh a manner - tried to be as friendly as I could but firm, and he adjusted the price accordingly.

Where did you bargain down 900 if you don't mind me asking? That's a hell of a discount.

OP you will surely get a better price in the US. But you can also save about €400 on the day/date in Spain. Also my mate bought one in Singapore for a significant discount.
