I never seen G on my phone but i presume it stands for GPRS (General packet radio service). Which is basic mobile radio frequency for making calls and texts. Not really suitable for internet

H stands for HSPDA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access)

You would use HSPDA for accessing the internet. In my experience with Meteor 3G is only used for calls where as HSPDA is for accessing the internet.

    Thanks,
I just tested it at home by turning off wifi and it still does not work.

it says Error 403: The service you requested is restricted. The service you requested is restricted and not available to your browser.

seems to happen with any webpage i try to open, It works on wifi.

Thanks for telling me about H G letters i all so spotted an E flash up for a second wonder what that could be.

Its seems to be picking up Email.

Could it be to do with region settings.
    I have it set
    Display language, English UK
    Region format, English UK
    System locale, English Ireland
    Browser&search language, English Uk

    rgds

I really have no idea what could have happened. Edge is another type of network. Its alot faster than GPRS for using mobile internet.

You can have a read here about network signals

Regions dont have anything to do with data.

Try changing the apn to isp.vodafone.ie

    ^^^^

What he said - I had the same issue.
If that does not work ring up vodafone and get them to reset your access settings. Ring from another fone as you'll have to switch it off/on again.
