Survival Cheat Sheets

I currently have laminated flashcards with basic survival techniques in my kits and I am looking at changing these to a less bulky "cheat sheet" that I can print off and laminate and add to my kits.

I have found a couple on the net but they are not the best, does anyone have a decent cheat sheet? One with some nice Irish specifics would be handy like most common Irish edible plants and a basic map.

The last is not too bad and some of the info could be transferred to all new Irish survival cheat sheet if anyone wants to help.

These cheat sheets seem like a great idea to me, especially something that can be printed off and tucked into a survival tin, bob and so on.

As was pointed out some of these might need to be tweaked for ireland, also for dealing with specific scenarios.

Could we compile a list of ideas and maybe someone would do the graphics to get it onto a small portable sheet?

I've two copies of the miniature Collins gem SAS survival guide which fit nicely in the belt pouch and some plastic knot cards - I should really know the knots off by heart but I don't get enough of a chance to use them all regularly.

    On Knots.
In reality, you dont really need to know a load of them, unless you intend taking up life on an old sailing ship or want to be a steeplejack!!
Alot of them were specialised for sail and rope repair [or macreme work].

Most normal "knotty problems" in everyday life can be sorted out with a
    blood knot,reef knot,bowline,hangmans noose:eek:,purisk knot,and a timber hitch.

I have most the material now, just need a word template and some willing volunteer "editors" to review it.

Does anyone have a simple map of Ireland? Showing basic terrain & major cities.

I maintain a decently large collection of prep documents in an e-document library that I share with other preppers. If Op has created something I would be interested in getting a copy to include in my collection and pass along to others

It's a lot of info, about 120 gigs now. What I do is mail high capacity thumbdrives of the organized collection around and accept donations of new documents from the recipients. The collection of info has been growing for 4 years now.
If anyone is interested I'd need a snail mail address to send the info to
Just need to get the thumbdrives back when you're done downloading
I do it that way mainly because even in 2014 there are a lot of more rural folks who don't have great internet connectivity to be able to download a lot of information

I'm not suggesting anything illegal here, in case that question arises, but have you considered sharing it on a file sharing site like Kickass Torrents?

It is not illegal to access kickasstorrents, although access is generally blocked by most if not all of the ISPs in Ireland (Eircom, O2, etc).

You could keep your thumbdrives secure but still disseminate your information to those who are interested. It would be a safer and more efficient way to share the info.

Again, I am not encouraging copyright infringement or anything like that.

Dropbox or Google Drive could achieve this I suppose, but with 120GB, it'd be very slow to download.

It's been suggested to me a few times but I've decided not to because so many of the folks who are looking for the information don't have the best internet to be able to download that much data
