Christy Moore last night in Vicar Street. Brilliant gig. And it was my first time to see him live.

I was at it too, amazing gig, you dont by any chance know the name of the song Declan Sinnott sang?

Have been to very few gigs this year, but The Naked and Famous in the Olympia was brilliant.

Don't want to be pedantic (but I will anyway) but this gig hasn't happened yet.

The Foo Fighters' first night at Milton Keynes was most likely the top gig of my life!

Less Than Jake @ Slam Dunk in Leeds or The Copyrights/Coffee Project @ The Fest, Gainesville FL.

In Ireland my favourite show was The Swellers in April, that was immense.

The best gigs for me are always the ones where you don't expect anything and that turn out to be fantastic. Therefore Airtist at Sziget was a highlight for me.

In the category artists that are more famous I'd go for:
    - Hudson Mohawke and Modeselektor in Amsterdam
    - House of Pain, Danny Byrd and Underworld at Exit in Serbia
    - Hurts at Positivus in Latvia
    - Prince, Dizzee Rascal, Pulp, Kasabian, Bloody Beetroots and Manic Street Preachers at Sziget in Hungary
    - Infected Mushroom at Fridge in Hungary

And a special mention for another less well-known act: Kees van Hondt at Sziget
