We're looking to upgrade our PC and would appreciate any advice. The PC will be used mainly for running Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (not the latest versions) as well as a few of the usual applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook etc).

One guy we spoke to recommended the following; http://www.elara.ie/productdetail.aspx?productcode=WCEA0Q76EAABU

Anyone have any opinions on this? Could we get something better for similar money €600 - 700? We would be open to having one built or taking one off the shelf.

you can do much better than that.
read through the thread in my signature and answer as many questions as you can back in this thread. i/someone else will be much better to help you then.

also, list the specs of your current PC, some parts may be salvageable.
