URGENT: Old Houses (Georgian etc) to tour in the city?

Hi there,

I've been asked to arrange a tour for an elderly visitor to Dublin with a keen interest in old houses. The only thing is, it has to be free and within the city. Are there any old Georgian Houses or historic old homes or the likes that you know of that would be suitable? It's an odd request I know but any help would be appreciated! Also, if anyone would know, how would I go about booking a tour for Leinster House?

This place should tick all the boxes. Near the ESB headquarters and opened as a kind of sorry for the fact they knocked loads of Georgian houses to build that monstrosity of a building.

Tours of Leinster House are organised via your local TD/Senator. They're conducted by the ushers in LH, and it's really interesting - well worth it!
