Long story short i need reccomendations for solictors specialising in employment law. Any idea of fee's would be great too. I don't want to go into issues unless really necessary. I find that a lot of places say they are employment law specialists but don't seem to be. Really appreciate any advice.

I think this might be better in the Legal Discussion forum, but you can't post anonymously there, so I can leave this here.

You might want to post your rough location though.

No discussion on the OP's issues, and preferably no chat about any firms that are mentioned as well.

I'm in Dublin. I don't mind if it is moved but i'm looking for genuine recommendations not people advertising themselves or friends. As i said before, any info on fee's or recommendation stories would be a help. I appreciate anything anyone has to offer to help. Thanks

ByrneWallace @ http://www.byrnewallace.com/Home/Home/ have been ranked as a top tier employment law firm. They are in the top 10 big firms in Dublin though, so fees might be pricey. No harm in contacting them though to find out.

    Good luck.

Many solicitors who claim to be experts in employment law are not, they are solicitors whose only area of expertise is conveyancing and are now desperately seeking a replacement income stream. Many have no specialist recent training in employment law. Those have a genuine expertise in this area of law are expensive.

I do not know what your issues are but in many (most) cases you do not need a solicitor you can submit a claim to the Rights Commissioner, EAT, Equality Tribunal yourself, the forms are not difficult to complete and once you lodge your claim within the time limit your case will be heard.

I suggest that you visit your local community information office, if they cannot provide the answers you need ask them for the contact details of the nearest FLAC office and go and see a solicitor there. As a walk-in you will see a general solicitor but it is usually possible to make an appointment to see a solicitor who specialises in employment law.

I had an issue this year, PM me or get a MOD to pm me and I can advise someone who done a great job for me.

I don't want to go into any details of my case, but I could give you an outline. It will be evening before I can reply.
