Hi, my wife and i are looking for a wireless headset to use when we're on skype.
My wife has a mate in America and as they both have kids they find it difficult to sit at the laptop to use skype, therefore we're looking for the above.
Any recommendations as to what type or who to buy off of will be greatly appreciated;).

I have been using a Logitech for years ..... great sound and even use it to listen to audio in comfort.

Plantronics CS60-USB, no contest. I use this headset with skype virtually every day,
expensive on amazon but you should be able to pick it up on ebay for about a quarter of this price secondhand

Looking at the pic..... that is an earpiece not a headset ...

This is what I referred to above

Last time I checked it's called a Plantronics CS60-USB Wireless "Headset" that comes with several attachments and is cushioned over the ear, this pic shows it better http://bit.ly/rJ25GE. It also lets you answer and disconnect calls via the headset. I didnt see any mention of the OP stating a stereo headset.

I would highly recommend a mono headset rather than a stereo headset when using skype. Makes the experience more like using a phone. The headband attachment is actually the most comfortable.

    Data sheet from Plantronics http://bit.ly/sIBHsY

They can call it whatever they like .... :D

On that we will disagree completely.
A proper over ears stereo headset is about as comfortable as one can get for listening to audio, regardless of source.

In addition a good stereo headset is not confined to one use only .... it can be used to listen to music or watch film in comfort without disturbing others or being interfered with by external sounds.

I have both types and have not used the mono ear-piece for about a year, but use the headset daily.
