Light Portable Attic Walk Boards 4 Checking Attic

Want to have a couple of light walk boards (not able to lift heavy stuff anymore) to check attic out now and again. Thinking of 3' x 2' (x2) can put one in front of the other and move along that way. Lightweight Material: Thinking of plywood, 9mm thick seems a bit thin but nice n light, maybe 12mm. Any ideas other…

B&Q and the likes have packs of flooring chipboard, packs of 4 sheets of 4'x2' if I remember correctly.
