Recovering deleted pic msg

Hi, I received some pic msgs which I deleted but are of great importance and would be extremely helpful to me if I had them now. I have a nokia phone. Is there any way I can recover these. I can get into the phones memory to see that my phone says it has 29 mms received. Any help/advice. thanks
