A friend of mine is looking to use a LinkedIn campaign to help his business. The idea is to create a group around a business interest he specialises in, and then try to get people to joint his group. He plans to do a seminar next year and this would be one good way of attracting attendees. He has been speaking to someone who specialises in linkedin - and although what they are suggesting is all good stuff, its pretty expensive.

I just thought I'd try to see if there are many linkedin experts around help him and show around before committing to doing business with one.

Anyone know anyone who does this? Or had any success using linkedin themselves?
