ubuntu boot menu not working

    You mean that Ubuntu is installed all right but you can't get into the boot menu?

    I think that if you start your computer and press and hold the shift key it'll show.

    the boot menu doesn't appear

    i changed the time to display operating systems to 10

    but the boot.ini file didn't seem to be correct either

    no mention of ubuntu

    so i'm not quite sure what's going on
