Looking to get 12 new 50mm slat wooden blinds for the house.

I have contacted 4 Dublin companies so far.

The best price is 850 euro and the worst price is 1100 euro, thats for 12 blinds in 50mm wood (light oak colour) and fitting too.

Does anyone have any ideas of places to go for better prices than the ones above??

    Thanks.:)

And to top it all off,Ive just had a quote from a company via text message. They came to the house this afternoon and did the measuring up.

So the text reads........1250 euro, including fitting.

    Thanks,but no thanks.

I looked at them before in Ikea, but I wouldnt call those blinds good quality.

They are flimsey untreated bare wood,so they bleach and fade from sunlight (as a friend of mine found out to his cost),they have a silly screw type pole that takes a million turns just to open or close the blind.

Ok,so they are cheap, but they aint for me.:(

    Thanks for the thought though.:)

Bought all the blinds for my gaf here - fast delivery, great prices compared to what others quoted me (though I had to fit them myself - it's easy), and they'll send you free samples, you can order online.

A mate of mine gave me a number for a blind company who he knows the owner of.

So I think I have found the blinds and price I was after.:)

The blind company can install them on Friday morning for me.

    Pics to follow.
