Desire Z vs Xperia play

Which should I go for? Considering I don't text much, but I also never game on my currently phone (simply isn't capable). And also taking into account the desire z would cost me more money, like about 80 euro more, but over time (because its a contract). Also which has the better screen does anyone know? Thanks.
