Used to play a good bit, but now restricted to playing handhelds most of the time. Mid-20's and doing a PhD, plus girlfriend and friends to spend time with, plus stuff like cycling and football so have been spending the last few years getting to know my GBA/DS/PSP very well. Recently managed to complete Catherine on the PS3 in a week over the course of 15 hours while the gf was away though!

Depends what game I'm playing. Some games I limp through playing on a few hours a week (2-4 I'd say). If I'm really stuck into a game I'd fit in 7-10 hours a week.

About 10 years ago I was racking up 25 hours a week no problem!
Similar to this (other than the 25 hours a week 10 years ago), some weeks I'll only find time for 2 or 3 hours gaming, other weeks I'll squeeze in 10 hours. Obviously will play a little more if I've a week off.

I do play a bit of poker as well though, which would eat into possible gaming time, as it comes out of my non-working, non-socialising, non-household-chores bank of relaxation time!

I normally put in around two hours an evening although on Sunday I must have put in about five hours, mainly playing Dark Souls and Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge.
After that brain-frying session on Dark Souls on Sunday I ended up getting strange dreams where I was playing Dark Souls. In the dream I entered a new area in the game called "Southill Outskirts", which was a field just off Carew Park in Limerick. I broke my way into a boarded up Tower House where I was almost combo'd to death by hurley wielding goblins with Limerick skanger accents. Just as I was starting to get the better of them Australian Wallabies winger James O'Connor came up behind my character and gave me an unmerciful boot into the back. My character just flopped onto the ground and I got the red "You Died" message. I threw my joypad onto the floor in frustration before waking up. I decided then that I would spend at least a week away from Dark Souls in order to get my head straight again:p

It depends really. I'd usually play FIFA 12 whilst listening to various podcasts during the week and I'd play maybe a new release game for a couple of hours on a Friday/Sunday night.

I'd say about 10 hours during the week and maybe 6 at the weekend. Saturday's/Sunday's are taken up by football intake and I try to get to the cinema and head out with mate's of a Friday or Saturday night.

Arkham City got a lot of attention from me though I have to say.

EDIT: International break means I'll probably get a bit more game time in this weekend. Christmas coming up too so I'll be off work and will have more time off. :)

It's pretty sad to say that the one thing I'm enjoying at the moment by not having a girlfriend - as much as that sucks - is the infinite amount of time in which to play games. I don't know myself recently...finished Halo Reach today on Legendary. That took a fair amount of time.

Working 9-5, footie training twice a week, match on Sat, gym twice a week.

I actually can't wait until the snow kicks in!

I'm generally too busy during the week these days. I might pull off 10 hours over the course of the weekend on the rare occasion that there's something that i'm really enjoying. Alas, I have a new pc on the way, it may go up for the likes of Skyrim and Battlefield. The vast majority I don't game at all though, it's just unfortunate that an abundance of games arrive in the same season.

I don't watch TV (except some football matches) so I'm sure if the average person watches 20-30 a week, then gaming the equivalent isn't as bad...is it ?
In the last 2 weeks I've completed Arkham City and clocked 34 hours of BF3, but I don't feel it's excessive.

I make the most of my free time, and travel abroad most months as I do shift work, so have a lot of free time to game etc aswell :D

Almost all day, almost every day.

I'm an excessive smoker (40'ish a day), that plus the fact I typically resort to computering for most of my life means I'm horribly unfit, turn to this over an older more active social life I used to have and pretty much represent the computer saddo we all stereotype - Only thing missing is me living in a basement.

    Came to mind :P
