Blackrock Search & Rescue - Cork City, will hold an open evening at 7PM on Thursday 10th November in Blackrock for anybody interested in becoming a volunteer for the unit.

There is a huge amount of dedication required by volunteers, including training two evenings a week and then the callouts. Can you imagine yourself getting out of your warm bed at 3AM, with your pager alerting, to go out and save somebody in need?

If yes, we would like to hear from you. Our unit covers from Horgan's Quay to Passage West and requires a dedicated crew.
