Hi all, can anyone recommend a nice lunch venue for 8 people around the Grafton Street area? Not top end, middle of the road will do fine.

    Tks!

I've heard good things about the Exchequer. They do a Sunday roast special for 4 people with a bottle of wine for 39.95 but you need to book by Friday.

How about Odessa for Sunday brunch? I think they serve it until 4pm. And it's delish!

If you like Thai - Siam Thai on St Andrews Street is fabulous - Also, for tapas - The Port House is excellent. For good comfort winter food I would have to recommend Cafe Boulevard - on Exchequer Street.

I love Thai Food and have been to Siam Thai in Dundrum before. One of the other people in our group recommended Saba on Clarendon Street. They have a lunch special for 2 or 3 courses so we're going to give that a try.

Hugos. I eat there quite often and their food is constantly good.
I believe they even have live jazz on a Sunday.

The Duke, just off Grafton Street. Roast of the day and all that type available. When my folks come to visit me we go there. They are the spuds, meat and veg type!

Haha, oh I'm sure they will go down well. I'm going to be driving but some of the others won't be!

Oooh, I do love a bit of Jazz! We meet up regularly enough so this will be our next port of call. Tks for that.

Book well in advance and ask for a table upstairs.
They have a room downstairs but it's not as nice and it's away from the buzz.

Hey Sooopie, just wanted to come back and say two of the girls had the pornstar cocktail and they loved it. I had a little sip and it was so nice. Vanilla Vodka (yummy!)
