    Hi All,

I am on JSA at the moment and have recently got married. Do I need to tell my local social welfare Office of this change or does it carry on as the same?? I have been on a work placement programme and havent been into office to sign for that duration, so never thought to ask!!??
    Any ideas?

I can never remember the difference, but you would need to tell them if you are on a means-tested benefit, as your husband's earnings would have to be taken into consideration. Does no harm to tell them either way.
