CE Marking - Is it required

    A friend is looking at manufacturing his own clothes, a clothes brand and get them manufactured in china. Does he require CE marking for each of the following items as I am not sure?

    1. Hoodie tops
    2. Track suits
    3. Sweatbands
    4. Captain armbands

    The items will be sports orientated. A comment on each item would be great. Thanks guys.

    Guys any comments on the above regarding quality and CE marking. Also looking to import helmets and key-rings. So any comments regarding same would be great.

    I doubt you need it. Look here: http://www.ce-marking.org/what-product.html. its mainly for electrical devices, medical devices, etc.
