    Hey there,

The company I work for, based in Cork, is looking to expands its iPhone development team. It's for a pretty cool project, so if you're an iPhone developer and might be interested just send me a PM.

That is cool. My son is able to do this but still learning at college. Reckon there must be loads of opportunity if you learn to build apps.

Curious about that myself, is it a niche market, and thus you'd be better in mainstream development. Or perhaps there will be a big move to mobile development for developers.

The approach we take in the college I work in is to give a good grounding in Java, but to also teach mobile development.

So students can choose to specialise, if they want. The jump from Java to Objective C is not that huge.
