On another note, anyone coming down to Limerick to watch Wrestlemania 29 on a cinema screen? Will be a brilliant experience. Tickets are more then likely gone by now for those wondering.

How big is the cinema as in how many seats?

What is the signing as in where and when does it happen, is it mobbed ? Bringing my kids for first time and I have no clue, they would love a signing and I didn't know there might be such a thing.

It normally happens in Smyths toy store, the last couple years it's been in the Dublin Jervis Street branch and the Belfast branch. Occasionally also the Tallaght branch.

No it's not mobbed, it's pretty organised as you're all just in a que, inching forward every few seconds waiting for your turn. There wouldn't be and danger for you little ones if that's what you're worried about.

No photo? Then what's the point of a meet n greet if you can't get a photo?? I don't fancy waiting round for hours on end with a child though, was there huge crowds at it?

Well you get a free autograph and your kids get to meet one of their heroes so it's still a good gig. You may be allowed a quick photo, think it depends on the mood of the security on the day. The crowds aren't huge, you need a ticket/bracelet for entrance and i'd say they only gave out around 100, so there's no waiting around for hours either.

Where would you get a bracelet out that if there was a signing?

From Smyths when they announce it.

Roughly 90-100, it's in Screen two but I cannot be sure how many exactly. To me it's huge and enough for the demand we had going annoying Showtime Cinemas about Wrestlemania ;)

its on in screen 2 which is their biggest one, holds about 250 people I'd say

    Current Card so far:

    John Cena vs. CM Punk

    ***WWE Tag Team Championship Match***
Team Hell No vs. Dolph Ziggler & Big E. Langston

    Ryback
    The Shield
    The New Age Outlaws
    Antonio Cesaro
    R-Truth
    Zack Ryder
    AJ Lee

    And many more!

I think it's going to change after Wrestlemania. Was excited to see The Shield but it seems like they're gonna be on SD tour.

Not as far as I know!
I saw an ad on the TV during NXT advertising Punk VS Cena Vs Ryback on the RAW tour. I doubt Punk will be coming though, he's due some deserved time off!

I don't think there's any ringside left. If you try adverts or gumtree, you might find tickets.

F*ck. Well seeing as I can't go to Belfast, I dunno if I'll bother going to the Dublin one. Bloody annoyed that Belfast gets Hell No and we don't.

Grames works for WWE so if he says it, you can take it as official :)

Ok so if I were to travel to Belfast how would I get myself wristbands??

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,013 ✭✭✭✭jaykhunter

Best to ring Smyths ahead of time to make sure they have wristbands. I wouldn't think they'd be available until maybe a week or so before the signing. It doesn't matter when you get the wristbands - it's when you show up on the day (it's a queue)
