Lumps on Neck and Shoulder

My friend is female and 18. She discovered 2 lumps recently, one on her neck and one on her shoulder. Does anyone know what these could be? I apologise if there's a seperate thread for queries or anything like that but I'm very concerned. Any replies would be greatly appreciated:o

these could be 1001 things. she needs to see a doctor to be examined, have a history taken etc.

as we don't permit medical advice on boards, I'm closing this thread
