Downloading from XBLA with modded console

    Can I still download from XBLA with a modded console without getting banned? Do they limit banning to consoles that try to play a copied game on xbox live? Thanks

    Just don't want to spend money buying xbox live points and then discover they've banned me before I can download any games!

    Seeing as you've broken the terms of service, and are most likely using illegal software, you're a shoe-in for the banhammer :)

    Why ruin the surprise, kinda funny though copying retail games but have to pay for Arcade titles.

    Who said anything about copying retail games? The console was modded when I bought it 2nd hand.

    I have never copied a game, downloaded an mp3, a movie or a TV show, and back in the day I never recorded anything onto a blank cassette tape, just like yourselves of course:rolleyes:

    No, why would you get banned for buying legit content. Just don't play non-stealth patched games and you'll be grand.

    This is for flashed consoles anyway, Don't ever sign into XBL with a JTAG'd xbox as you'll get banned instantly.

    I understand that they ban the console from live but what about the gamertag? Im still trying to find someone to mod my elite

    I'm aware the OP mentioned copied games in this instance, but not every modification means someone is playing pirated material. I've seen some good cooling modifications for example...which don't break any TOS.
