    Can someone give me the name / location of an all day parking area near Market Cross .

    There is no "long term" car park in kilkenny per se, but the best value for the whole day in close proximity to Market Cross shopping center would probably be St. Marys car park, here

    There are €2 per day car parks well within walking distance of the center.
    One is the Abbey car park (Beside the... Black Abbey), another is near the brewery and another is just beside St. Canice's Church.

    How long is long term?
    If it's longer than a few days just park in a shopping center car park (safer) and just say you lost the ticket and you'd only have to pay for the lost ticket - between €10 & €25 :)

    You can get all day parking in the multi storey near the parade/ormonde hotel for €6 if you book online... not all that far away from the Market Cross.

    The one at the Black Abbey is not that far away either. Either would be fine unless it's a miserable day and you're back and forth.
