Sniper game snag

    Hi all
    I got a copy of "Sniper-Art of Victory" today and loaded it up and up came a black screen with the caption "Mode not supported" and below it; H:68.7Khz and V:85.0Hz.
    What does that mean? The audio of the game runs, so I can hear the opening sequences but i have no picture.

    To do with the Hz or your monitor I would imagine. Can you change from 59, 60 etc ?

    Like Sean says it sounds like the game is running fine but its trying to output at a refresh rate that your monitor doesn't support. So your monitor shows that error screen.

    You need to open Notepad and then point to the file VideoSettings.scr file in the Data folder.
    Change the MaxRefresh value to the V
    setting on your monitor (probably 60) and change the Resolution setting to the current setting of your desktop. This happens with all of their games. This always fixes it from me!!
