Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Gary Oldman, the man is a chameleon. he's made some not so good movies but he's always the best thing in them. this is the same guy who plays a scumbag rastafarian drug dealing pimp, a psychotic cop with a penchant for Mozart, Harry Potter's uncle, a British spy,Sid Vicious, Commission Gordon, Dracula, and makes you believe he's all of them.

Anthony Hopkins, he can ham it up at times, but his best performances are the most understated ones, The Remains of the Day is a perfect example, says everything without saying a lot.

Daniel Day Lewis, not many other actors put the level of commitment into his roles. he only makes a movie every few years but he's immense in everything he's in.

Never got the De Niro thing. Made some good movies about 30 years ago, and since then has played the suave, middle-aged Italian role on a constant basis. Honestly, what was the difference between Jimmy Conway in Goodfellas and the Casino guy? Bland.

Pacino is the same. The truly great actors remain great and change their style all the time. I think people who pick these two just don't get what acting is. It's not about playing yourself.
