    Hi I prepared for along time to buy one or two capuchin monkeys . Does anyone know where I could get them in Ireland. Thankyou:)

    You haven't prepared enough they cannot be housed alone it's cruel.
    They need a large enclosure..have you got a massive garden with a large enclosure which could cost a few thousand to build and indoor heating?
    Have you researched their diet and their behaviour, that they eventually bite as they mature and can become aggressive. They are very intelligent and need different things every day to try out.
    They live a long time and need specialist vet care.

    These are wild animals, and not suitable as pets..that's why there are monkey rescues because owners get them without reading up enough.

    Forget it, donate to a rescue like wicklow monkey sanctuary or monkey world in Dorset.
