it's a great small festival! and the location is brilliant creating such amazing atmosphere.
at this stage I don't even look at the line-up anymore as it plays no role for decision making.
been there the last few years and wouldn't miss it for anything.

FESTIVAL APP TO REVEAL DAY-BY-DAY LINE UP
We are currently working on updating our Sea Sessions App for smart phones! The App has been designed so that festival goers will have all information they need right at their fingertips! Sea Sessions fans will be able to get information HERE FIRST on stage times and day by day line-up, festival news and information. The App will be available for download by the start of June!

    PRESIDENTIAL VISIT
We have the honour of announcing that the President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins, will be arriving on Saturday June 30th to give a speech, and to tour the festival site. He will hopefully be presenting the awards to the Barefoot Expression Session Surfers if the surf contest has run before his arrival. The nature of surfing is very much dependent on the elements and the competition will run when the waves are best on any of the tree days of the festival. We wonder if Michael D. will be up for a surf lesson?!?!!

    SURF'S UP
With the biggest cash prize in Irish Surfing on offer the Barefoot Expression Session in Association with Billabong is already attracting a huge level of international surf stars. Billabong team rider Ruebyn Ash has already indicated he will be in attendance as has last year's winner Alan Stokes of the UK.

"It's a really great format for the event. It is all about the biggest most eye catching move, that's what wins a heat, so it makes it interesting viewing even for non-surfers, there won't be any technical stuff here, just the best surfers pulling off the most radical moves," said Contest Director Pete Craig.

The Barefoot Expression Sessions in Association with Billabong has once again been sanctioned by ASP Europe (Association of Surfing Professionals) making it the only speciality event of its kind to receive their approval in Ireland.

"It's great to have Barefoot involved this year they have a great environmental track record in California and we are hoping to do a beach clean-up as part of the weekends activities with them. Plus Billabong will be bringing other riders as well as Ruebyn so the standard is going to be even higher than ever," said Pete.

SEA SESSIONS SET FOR TWO-WHEEL ADRENALINE RUSH
Along with our surf contest, beach sports and beach Olympics - Extreme Sports event specialists Adrenaline State are all set to rock Bundoran later this summer with their high-octane, two-wheel mash-up. All the weekend's action will take place in the intimate surroundings of the "Surfers Village" and features some heavy-hitters from the world of action sports.

Topping the bill at the multi-discipline, stunt-spectacle is three-time world BMX champion Matthias Dandois. The Parisian flatland wizard is a true innovator and is hailed as one of the greatest BMX freestylers of all time. He will be performing for the first time in Ireland, so don't miss his eye-popping moves. Also on the bill are the UK's leading freestyle mountain-bike trials riders, including youtube sensation Ben Travis. Petrol-heads are also in for a treat with a gravity defying display from Ireland's very own master trials-bike riders.

The assembled talents will showcase their skills on an elaborate purpose built course, which will include everything from mashed-up cars and scrap metal to industrial containers and electric spools. All the action will be hosted by hip-hop MC supreme Mystro and sound-tracked by some no-nonsense rock and roll. You can catch the crew in action several times daily throughout the weekend. Let the fun begin!

Meanwhile D-town will be over at the main event site bringing you the most bangin' skate and BMX display with top riders for your entertainment. The D-town Jam is something not to be missed this year as it is a freshly built street course especially constructed for Sea Sessions with the most skilled skateboarders and BMX'ers in the country. We guarantee it will be a show like no other!

Not a wile lot of chat on here about this!

think I'm heading to it (handy having a festival an hour away instead of 6 or 7!) but think we are gonna camp the first night and see what the story is and then maybe buy a one day ticket for either Saturday or Sunday.

Does anyone know though is there an unofficial campsite where people camp or are they not very strict on the weekend passes only in the camp?
