Ah. I get it. I thought it was a pop at them. I seen them in 2010, they were really good.

Tickets are for sale from about 8 suppliers, all with completely different prices. I went through the lot and found Codetickets to be the cheapest at €365 per pair of tickets:
    http://www.codetickets.com/primavera-sound/ca/primaverasound.com/37/
It's a spanish site, but you can change to English in the top right, and they email the tickets to you. Atrapalo is €1 cheaper, but I couldn't get it to work with my credit card.

    Other vendors:
    Codetickets 365
    See 384
    Primavera 380
    Paypal 375.80
    Atrapalo 364
    Ticketmaster 372
    Servicaixa 370
    Fnac 370
    Facebook 380

Can I ask?? This is my first time going, but have been keeping an eye for years. Are we to expect another announcement? or do people think this is the final line up? I was just expecting a little more, I think this lacks a little based on last years line up. No M83, thought maybe wild beasts? Just feel it needs another 10-20 additions to give it that bit more depth.

There'll be a good few more names added yet.

my third visit this year after 08 and 10 - tbh some of my best primavera memories have been bands I have stumbled across (literally) on the day!

Some of my mates have the pro tickets, anyone else get them. I didnt bother as I hadnt my passport when booking.

The lineup is shaping up pretty nicely at this stage imo. I'm still very excited to see who else they add though.

Considering Faith no More seem to be touring this summer I would love if they got announced for Primavera. How likely this is though, i've no idea. Fingers crossed :D

Just wondering, has anyone received their ticket yet?

I booked through paypal in mid December and have only been sent an email receipt since. Kinda worried!

Does the email have a barcode? If so, thats your ticket, which you exchange for a wristband at the festival site.

No barcode, It's really just a confirmation from paypal that I made a payment. I popped them an email so hopefully they'll will tell me what's going on

I believe the paypal tickets you gotta pick up at the venue on the day of the festival (get there early!).

I bought a ticket for Optimus Primavera Porto and the final ticketmaster screen had a barcode but I had no printer to print it and now I've no way of getting to that page again to print as I just have an email with confirmation code.

Anyone know if that will be ok?

You should be able to log back onto ticketmaster and print it off.

If not send them an email quoting the code and get them to send you the pdf.

You'll need a barcode to scan in when you get there.

Yeah I went back in to the ticketmaster page (ticktackticket) and it shows my order history but no option for a bar coded printable page.

You sure you don't have to collect them from the venue?

If you are send them an email about it.

Going through a few pages on the TM website it says I just need the reference number and ID and Credit Card. Was worried as I always had the barcode for regular Primavera the last 2 years.

    There'll be a few more i think.

ATP posted their stages as well today.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,829 ✭✭✭Toast

I think in the past they've added a few unannounced to the bill after making up the timetable but they've usually be small local bands doing stage openers style thing. Also I don't think the Myspace Salon or a few of the other smaller stages have been announced yet but once again usually local bands or smaller sets from bands currently playing. The promoters haven't really been going with the "..and many more" line for a while now so I think all the big stuff is done.

Ok lads basically looking into buying two tickets less than face value on done deal

seller seems genuine but I'm wondering will there be problems with the fact that his name is on the ticket and not mine?

Check the website, at the very least the original buyer of the tickets will have to email the organisation and inform them of the change.

Primavera has a bit of an odd system. Alot of the tickets aren't actually tickets but just an order confirmation to pick up the tickets at the festival which you THEN switch for a wristband.

If the tickets were bought via Paypal from the festival then you've definitely got this. This and any other method of picking up tickets from the festival involve checking your passport against the passport info that would have been entered when they were booked. If you aren't the person named you can pick up someone else's tickets as long as you have a photocopy of their passport, a photocopy of their credit card and a letter saying "I agree to let X pick up my tickets". My understanding is if the tickets were bought from the festival it is also possible for the original buyer to change their details to yours via a mail to the promoters (they'll need your passport number to do it).

If the tickets are actually tickets (with a barcode etc) you don't need ID unless they are VIP tickets as far as I recall but yeah check with the promoters first.

    Bjork has cancelled.

    ====================

Björk cancels her presence at San Miguel Primavera Sound and Optimus Primavera Sound

After some successful shows in South America, it's with a heavy heart we must inform that the shows scheduled for Saturday 2nd of June at San Miguel Primavera Sound (Barcelona) and Saturday 9th of June at Optimus Primavera Sound (Porto) must be cancelled.

After canceling some shows due to an inflamed nodule, Björk's specialist doctor advised her to keep resting and not to continue with the shows as they could bring a permanent damage to her voice.

We are very sorry about any inconvenience this might bring, and appreciate your understanding.

We wish Björk a quick and full recovery to continue enjoying her talent soon.

The organization is aware of the importance of Björk on Saturday’s programme, both for Barcelona and Porto. Therefore it has been decided to provide with the possibility of requesting the return of the day tickets for the 2nd of June in San Miguel Primavera Sound and for the 9th of June in Optimus Primavera Sound, as long as they have been purchased before the 10th of May and they have not been used to gain access to the festival.

The information about the operative regarding the refund of the purchase price will be announced soon.

The definitive line-up and the concerts timetable for both festivals will be released in the next few days.

Wouldn't be so bad if they replaced her with kraftwerk like they are doing at sonar Sao paulo. Unlikely though.
