Refund Postal Order

    I got a postal order for €100 last week, I posted it off and wrote the name of a state agency on it. The agency sent it back as what I required was not possible.

    So now I have a PO to the value of €100. I searched high and low for the receipt and can't find it.

    Can I get this cash back?

    You should ask to speak to someone at An Post's postal order / money order section.

    In the same situation. Govt agency has returned a PO already filled in. Is there any easy way to reclaim the money?

    Just wondering how you got on with getting a refund for a postal order with no receipt.
    I am in the same situation and cant find the receipt anywhere.
