Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

IKF Promoter Mr. Tommy Delaney put together an exciting International full contact kickboxing promotion in the Heritage Hotel in Portlaoise last Sunday which had eleven bouts and one junior exibition bout.
The show was the first of its kind to ever be held in Portlaoise and although the numbers of fight fans could have been better, the fights themselves will have people talking for a long time to come.
The Galway Black Dragon Kickboxers had four fighters out and they did their town & their country proud with 100% victories over four quality opponents.
Gary Giles from Claregalway took on Limerick fighter Carl Domiceo in a scheduled 3 rounder and stopped him in the 3rd round in one of the most exciting fights of the evening - the win brings Gary even closer to a possible Irish title fight in the new year.
The main event was an Ireland V France International team event featuring Charlie Ward from Castle Park, Eric Daly from Gort and Cathal Manning from Rahoon taking on three all France kickboxing champions..
Ward, who is the current IKF All Ireland & 5 Nations champion was the first Irish fighter to the ring and he faced Jason Decante in a scheduled four rounder and this was a fast paced bout between two very technichal fighters but it was Charlies time to shine and shine he did as he took a well deserved unanamous decision over the French fighter.
Next up was recently crowned IKF European Super Lightweight champion Eric Daly versus seasoned French fighter Eric Tacconi and once again the pace was fast & furious and after four hard rounds it was Dalys hand that was raised as a unanamous victor.
The last fight of the night featured IKF World Light Heavyweight champion Cathal Manning and he faced up to Frances Anthony Pinto.
Manning opened the round with some powerful kicks to Pintos midsection that could be heard all around the venue but Pinto fired back and it was shaping up to be a really good fight, until midways through the round, Manning caught the Frenchman with a savage left hook to the body.
Pinto went down hard to the canvas where he stayed and was counted out by Referee Mick Burke from Dublin who, immediately after the count, called for the ringside doctor.
The doctor revealed that at least one of Pintos ribs was possibly broke and the Frenchman will be out of action for quite a while.
Manning, who is this years Galway Bay FM sports star of the year for Kickboxing added yet another knockout win to his impressive CV and the Black Dragon gym had shown that their fighters can mix it up with the best.
