    Hi RS Team,

I am going to treat myself to a TV for Christmas and I said I would give you the chance to make me an offer :D

I was thinking of the Philips 47PFL7606 TV. Do you stock this TV? What is your opinion of this TV?

I like the 2 - player split screen gaming idea where both playes sees the full screen.

I need this TV to be used as 1) PC Monitor 2) Play games.

What you recommend this TV, or similar?

Look forward to hearing back from you.

Completely superb - I just love it - Ok so it's not got quite as slim a bezel nor is it as skinny as the Sammy D7/8000 series, but the picture quality and especially the audio quality is just superb!

To be honest I'm not a Gamer, but this featurs is so damn cool it would make me want to start!

Both no problem of course - the biggest problem at the moment is trying to get our grubby paws on this model as they are as rare as hens teeth - however if we can lay our hands on one we would do it at just £899.95 for you - again I have to say, really great TV!

    Keep us posted,

    Hi John,

Thanks for the fast response. Could you tell me what the 3D is like on it? I hear its pretty good, considering the mid range price?

Could you also bundle in a surround system in it as well pls? Dont want to go mad here though. Its for a small "box sized" room so doesnt have to have a hugh output. But I need it to have optical input for my PS3 and also have the ability to connect it to my PC for surround sound also.

Also need a wall mount :-)

Could you PM me your best price for the above.

    Cheers Man,

    Hi John , rs team,

Any update to my question below?

Also, does this tv have 2d to 3d conversion?

    Thanks

    Hi Djsim101

The 3D is very good on this TV - its a passive 3D system we actually have the 42" version running 3D and it stops people in their tracks when they pop the glasses on.

This TV doesnt offer 2D to 3D conversion - to be honest i've yet to be convinced by any TV that tries to convert 2D to 3D - i'm sure other disagree however!

We have wall mounts that will hold this TV pretty cloes to the wall for only €59.99

Re the Surround sound system hopefully the lads from Richer will come back with options for you - the remaining Philips systems dont support optical inputs

anything elseon the TV I can help you with let me know
