I'm curious how UPC let me use their broadband when my router is connected to their UPC nest installed in my house. Is it based on PPPoE (which requires login and password) or based on Modem Serial Number or what? Anybody knows?

maniootek, don't post the same question in multiple threads, especially ones where it doesn't belong. Look at the megathread for the UPC Cisco modem too. It's stickied at the top of the forum.
