The main head of security yesterday was a topless guy I believe.
He seemed to be trying to chap up alot of woman when giving them wristbands but any men were gruffly told to go to another guy for a wristband.:D

Sounds like the eejit I had last year in the RDS who tried to fob off giving me a wristband because he was too busy chatting up the pair in front of me. Tried to tell me he had no wristbands left despite, y'know, the bunch he had in his hands at that exact moment:rolleyes:

    And that's awesome Doc.

Concerning a pit in KK, pure speculation on my part but I imagine their will be. Once inside the stadium the wristband will allow access and exit to and from any pit so being a festival wont be that big a difference from a normal show. It's not in a field so it should work. In fact a pit might encourage an audience for the opening acts.
I remember Bob Dylan and their was hardly anyone around for the early acts. Flaming Lips btw.

Brilliant gig last night loved the setlist slow start that was aimed for the hardcore fans but the rest was brill. That stadium should never be allowed stage a gig again getting out a disaster and thw lack of lighting

Amazing no one was injured. Hopefully the re-development of the stadium will address all those issues.

The guy who gave Bruce the giant Irish passport at Thomond was shrewd enough to write his phone number on it and, right enough, Bruce rang him and invited him to the bar in Adare Manor for a drink and to hang out!

Basically yest if you were red route you got screwed no matter what time you went as they had no passes until the very end when they realised they had tonnes not given out. Blue route you got passes it seems no matter how late you turned up. Complete screw up. Manged to blah way into pit and get a pass eventually. There was supposed to be 4500 passes as per lovely Aiken guy who sorted us but there was no more than 3000 in the pit. Totally mess.

    According to Ticketmaster:

...but as far as I know there are only two support acts for each night so I dunno who the others are.

No I'd say wait and see. First thousand being lead in now in Belfast. It is hot, hot, hot

Now that was a freaking awesome show in Cork!!!!

With my problems with the pit and the lack of security searches on people heading in it could of been an awful night but once the great man hit the stage my annoyance vanished!!

    Hit after hit after hit!!!

The man is a machine and what a voice!!!

Songs like Jack Of All Trades are even better live than on cd!!!

I advise anyone who's never seen him to make it their business to see him because they don't make them like THE BOSS anymore!!!

A friend of mine went on my recommendation and all she's doing since is talking about how it's the best concert she has ever seen!!!

Am still buzzing after it and in my hometown.Life just doesn't get any better than that!!!

my bro and his missus stayed in the same hotel as bruce and co in cork. after the gig they came into the residents bar to listen to the trad session and have a few drinks. they were all very approachable and signed autographs, posed for photos and chatted to anyone that wanted to. no rockstar bull**** at all

Looks like a fab setlist to me. Were the Nebraska songs solo acoustic or full band arrangements?
